What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device (computer, tablet or phone) when you visit. They let the site remember your actions and preferences for a period of time so you do not have to re-enter them.
How we use cookies
On bstelecom.ba we use two categories of cookies:
- Essential cookies – required for the basic operation of the site (user session, form security, remembering your cookie choice). These are always set and do not require consent.
- Analytics cookies – we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used and to improve it. These cookies are set only after you give consent by clicking “Accept” in the cookie banner. If you click “Reject”, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Google Maps on the Contact page
On the Contact page we display a Google Maps map showing our office locations. This map loads automatically, independently of your choice in the cookie banner, as it is treated as embedded third-party content rather than an analytics cookie. Opening that page causes your browser to connect to Google’s servers, which may set their own cookies under Google’s Privacy Policy.
Managing your consent
On your first visit we show a banner where you can accept or reject analytics cookies. Your choice is stored in the bsts_cookie_consent cookie for 6 months.
You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to the site or to legal requirements. Any changes are published on this page with the date of the last update.
